Anthony Bellezza, Ph.D. (Chief Technology Officer) is a serial entrepreneur with experience in technology development and business management in early-stage medical device companies. He has 15+ years of experience in identifying, financing, and introducing early or seed-stage technologies to the marketplace. He is the primary author and Principal Investigator (PI) on seven state and federal grants, including multiple Phase I and Phase II SBIR grants from the National Science Foundation, with total grant awards exceeding $1.1M. Dr. Bellezza has strong scientific and clinical expertise in multiple disciplines, including ophthalmology, medical devices, biomechanics, and electrical engineering. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University, and his B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Economics from Duke University.
